Where did my investment mindset begin≠ Real estate was always a topic of conversation at the dinner table, as my grandparents owned a triplex. As a teenager, I took an active role in managing rentals?painting, staging, marketing, showing units, and selecting tenants. These early experiences shaped my passion for real estate and instilled a deep understanding of property investment.
I earned a double major in Education and Biology from Florida State University, but I quickly realized that teaching alone wouldn't provide the financial freedom I aspired to achieve. With that in mind, my very first property purchase included rental income potential. I spent 17 years teaching science before stepping away to focus on raising my children. While real estate had always been in the background of my life, it became my primary focus when I left education. Managing family properties and researching investment opportunities evolved into a true passion?one that ultimately led me to a full-time career in real estate.
Beyond my professional pursuits, I prioritize fitness, family, friendships, and faith. I stay active through running, hiking, weightlifting, and yoga, and I love any outdoor adventure with my children.
